We’ve all observed a major shift in eCommerce marketing strategies over the past few years…
Since about mid 2021, the digital advertising market has been slowly upended:
- CPAs for Meta advertising have skyrocketed
- Competition between eCommerce brands has increased
- Email engagement data is becoming less reliable
- Apple’s major privacy updates in iOS 14 have kneecapped access to customers
- Google’s removal of 3rd party cookies from search has eliminated an entire industry overnight
All in all, it’s tough to be an eCommerce brand at the moment.
As a result, many growth teams are looking for alternative tools to reach their target customers.
Two notable ones that I’ve come across recently:
1. Revenue Roll 🥖
Revenue Roll helps eCommerce brands identify bounced website visitors without the use of 3rd cookies.
Instead, they’re able to identify individual browsers by analyzing and pairing several existing data sets, allowing brands to recover and retarget.
2. Orita 🟨
Orita’s audit feature analyzes your Klaviyo email list and flags the recipients that are most likely and least likely to actually make a purchase.
After all, Klaviyo charges a brand by the number of recipients and the number of sends. If a brand can shorten its email list, it can become cheaper and more profitable.
What about you?
What kind of tools have you seen out there that are making marketing teams and eCommerce brands more efficient?
