Because, that’s what it takes to build an outlier business. A founder’s solution needs to be 10x better than what’s currently on the market.

And, more often than not, the only kind of person who can build a company that will achieve that outcome is someone who is willing to sacrifice (almost) everything else in their life for this mission.

When I see that in a founder, I know they have what it takes.
